Welcome to Hold the Phone, NRE!
If you worry about social pressure for smartphones at an increasingly younger age, you are not alone! Emerging research demonstrates concern for the brain development and mental health of children growing up with social media and internet access in their pockets. The great news is that we can begin fostering a smartphone-free social network for our kids right now. Rather than waiting for the pressure to mount, we’ve created a community for Wake Co families to pledge together to delay smartphones through at least the end of middle school. Join our Hold the Phone, NRE! initiative and connect with others who have similar goals
